site is devoted to the activities of Edgar Cayce's Association for Research
and Enlightenment, Inc. (A.R.E.)
in Northern California and Northern Nevada. This is one of 11
Regions in North America devoted to making the information of the Edgar
Cayce Readings available to everyone on a local and personal level.

The mission of the Region is: To support
those studying, researching and applying the principles in the Edgar
Cayce readings and related material for spiritual growth, healing and
community.
The A.R.E. is a non-profit membership
organization founded over 75 years ago by Edgar
Cayce in 1931. It is a living network of people who are finding,
through the psychic work of Edgar Cayce, a deeper meaning in life
in such areas as holistic health care, meditation, dreams, reincarnation,
and spiritual healing. Through its many publications, seminars, study
groups, membership mailings and the Internet, the A.R.E. keeps in
close touch with many of its members wherever they live. More than
300 books have been written about Cayce's life and work, resulting
in "Edgar Cayce Centers" in twenty-five countries, and members in
more than 60 countries. A.R.E. also maintains an affiliation with
Atlantic University,
which offers a master's degree program in Transpersonal Studies. For
