“The purpose in life, then, is not the gratifying of appetites nor of any selfish desires, but it is that the individual, the soul, may make the earth a better place in which to live.” Edgar Cayce Reading #4047-2Edgar Cayce's

Summer at Asilomar can bring all kinds of weather, Bring comfortable clothing, a jacket (or raincoat) in case of chilly evenings, and walking shoes. And do plan to enjoy the beach!

COMMUNITY DANCE AND CELEBRATION

Please join us as Ilona Marshall treats us to an evening of laughter and fun as we learn several folk dances designed to upliftand inspire the heart. Ilona has taught hundreds of people to dance. Come to dance or just watch the fun!

SHARING GROUPS

Sharing groups give you an opportunity to share your Asilomar experiences over lunch. There will be opportunities to laugh, play and share your experience of the Cayce Legacy with your new "family." Meet new friends and reunite with old friends as we come together in community.

YOUTH CAMP PROGRAM

Youth (first grade through high school age), will share fun activities: arts and crafts, beach games, tide pool exploration and the Cayce Scavenger Hunt. Campers spend time during the week with their own age group exploring other more subtle energy activities like learning how to meditate, interpreting their own dreams, giving a foot massage and feeling how music can calm or energize our bodies, to name a few.

Youth will be housed dormitory style with others their own age, under the direct care and guidance of experienced adult counselors. Campers also spend family time with their parents every day from 4:00-6:00pm.

Enrollment Policy: In order to insure an ideal staff to camper ratio, all reservation received after the May 7th early enrollment deadline will be accommodated on a space available basis only.

Note: Youth under 18 must have an adult or guardian staying on grounds.

YOUNG ADULT SHARING GROUP

For people ages 18-30, we will have a sharing group catering to young adults. The group will attend lectures together as well as supplement their week with classes and activities specific to the group. In addition, the Young Adult Sharing Group is invited to join the Youth Camp during the Cayce Games, our annual scavenger hunt, and other group activities. The function of the Young Adult Sharing Group is to serve as a bridge to those no longer part of the youth camp but who still enjoy a smaller group setting.

BOOKSTORE  The Region Bookstore provides a complete selection of A.R.E. Press books and other quality books as well as health care products, CDs, DVDs, videos & other gift items. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Proceeds support the Region.

AUCTION  Please bring your appropriate donations for the silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will support the youth program. Drop off your donations after 3:00pm on Wednesday, July 11.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY  Cancellations received by May 7th will be refunded the full amount.  After May 7th refunds for room and board can only be refunded if we can fill the space.  Asilomar Conference Center requires full payment for rooms cancelled after the May 7th deadline. Tuition refunds are available less a $25 processing fee.

OFF-GROUNDS PARTICIPATION

In addition to tuition fees, an off-grounds fee of $9.25/day ($46.25 for the entire conference) will be collected by the Region from those living off grounds and attending the conference (Asilomar charges this fee for use of their facilities while attending the conference). Meal tickets may be purchased from Asilomar if you would like to share meals with our group. Contact our A.R.E. Registrar for meal prices: Debbie Dvornik, 707- 528-7102 or deblmd@hotmail.com.

DONATIONS TO THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
